Meow — Retro Mid-Century Black Cats Canvas Wall Art

They have been sitting like this since approximately 1957 and have no plans to change. Two black cats, long and liquid and entirely self-possessed, arranged on a teal background with the particular elegance of things that were designed in an era when elegance meant clean lines and knowing exactly how much was enough. Their green eyes have seen everything and found most of it acceptable. The atomic swirls behind them are decorative. The cats tolerate them. The word at the bottom says what it needs to say. This is a painting about cats who have always known they were art, in a style that has always known it too.
