She Was There Before the Moon Rose. She’ll Be There When It Sets.

A black cat sits on a bare branch against a vast golden full moon, deep teal-blue sky pressing in from all sides. Bats wheel overhead. Fireflies or embers drift through the air below. The whole scene is painted with the luminous, jewel-toned richness of the best Halloween illustration — the kind that makes the holiday feel genuinely atmospheric rather than merely decorated. This cat is not a costume. This cat is the real thing.

Why You'll Love It

• The moon is the whole composition — warm gold circle against deep teal night, the cat’s silhouette at the center of it all; the color contrast is bold and the composition is perfectly balanced between drama and stillness
• Jewel-toned gothic illustration style — saturated teal, deep midnight blue, and glowing amber gold with loose painterly edges and the kind of atmospheric depth that makes this piece look luminous in low evening light
• Halloween year-round — the color palette is rich and sophisticated enough to read as moody gothic decor in any month; this piece decorates a Halloween home in October and a dramatically lit reading nook in February
• HD archival printing on artist-grade canvas — deep teal night, glowing gold moon, and crisp black cat silhouette rendered with vivid, fade-resistant clarity
• Natural wood frame available — clean float frame finish, ready to hang out of the box
• Made & shipped in the USA — printed on demand, crafted with care
• 9 sizes available — from 8x12" accent to 34x51" statement piece
